Hi, I'm Emily, the tiny and colourful host of the Language Confidence Project! Through podcasting, workshops and public speaking, I support creative and unconventional language learners to bring their studies to life and really carve their own path in their language learning.
I have a degree in Modern Languages and Linguistics from the University of Oxford and an MA in Applied Linguistics, specialising in Language, Mind and Brain. I have 8 years of experience teaching English, French, Mandarin and Spanish, and I’m also fluent in Portuguese. I spend a lot of time exploring how we can use philosophy, literature, art and psychology to help us deal with uncertainty, liminal spaces, and how we can live intentional and creative lives. I also love tea, watercolour, and all the dog videos! I also love chatting, so come and talk to me!
